Christmas Minis in Coquitlam – What to expect during your session

It’s that time again! My favourite time. I look forward to Christmas minis all year. It’s so nice seeing the children that have came in previous years and watching how much they’ve grown. It’s also nice meeting new families and seeing them start a new tradition or just capture family photos for the first time.
So whether you are coming for the first time or your 10th time, welcome! Below you will find some samples of what our Christmas sets are for this year. But before discussing the sets I wanted to tell you a little bit about how we role here. I do send a full prep guide before the sessions but here’s a little highlight.

  • Our studio is in Port Coquitlam, right near the walmart
  • Any age is okay! Just keep in mind with little babies we might not get the full backdrop in the shot.
  • A custom cookie or surprise is given to every child no matter the outcome of the session (the ones that came previously look forward to this)
  • You’re just coming to play and check out this year’s sets while getting photos done. Doesn’t have to be stressful or a big deal.
  • We will play in snow. Whether it is from my snow machine or playing with fake snow (as long as sensory processing is okay with this)
  • You’ll be amazed by the wonderful images we’ll capture.

For our Holiday Sessions we have three sets. One is a store front, one is a bed setup and one is a winter tree farm. All of these sets work with family photos or children on their own. Outfits that would work for these are winter toques/sweaters, pajamas or dressy holiday. The sessions are 15 minutes long and you can book them HERE

We do currently have space for our Santa sessions HERE This year will be a Hot Cocoa theme and the children will sit with Santa and chat. Our Santa Sessions are more about the experience and we like to give them a few minutes to chat before capturing any photos.
